Simple and FAST, these Pizza Quesadillas are a solid supper that is prepared in only 15 minutes! A child top choice, the "pizzadillas" can be modified for every individual burger joint — keep them veggie lover, load them up with pepperoni, or make them basic and mushy with only 3 fundamental fixings!

Two of my young men's preferred dinners are quesadillas and pizza (commonplace, right?), so why not consolidate them? I revealed to you this was child inviting! Since I quite often have mozzarella, marinara sauce, and tortillas in my wash room, these simple Pizza Quesadillas are an extraordinary a minute ago lunch or supper choice that I don't have to search for.

The base of this formula requires only 3 fixings: cheddar, tortillas, and marinara sauce (or pizza sauce). You can include the same number of extra pizza "fixings" as you like, for example, pepperoni, wiener or sautéed mushrooms and onions, however those additional items are totally discretionary!

Ingredients

  • 1 tortilla
  • 2 Tablespoons marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional additional ingredients: grated Parmesan cheese, sliced pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, sausage, or any other pizza toppings of your choice
  • For dipping: warm marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat a flat griddle or a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread marinara sauce on half of the tortilla. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, and any other toppings of your choice. Add another layer of mozzarella over toppings.
  3. Fold tortilla over.
  4. Spray griddle with cooking spray and cook quesadilla for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned. Remove to a cutting board and allow the quesadilla to cool for a few minutes. Cut into triangles and serve.
